Rebecca Wield, aka Bex is a movement director & coach, actor and ex-professional ballet dancer from London. She has 20 years of experience teaching Pilates and is Pilates Foundation trained with Dr Suzanne Scott (England mens football team movement specialist). Rebecca is also qualified in pre/post-natal Pilates, clinical Pilates and somatics. Rebecca has an MA with distinction in Movement Directing and Teaching from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She works with actors on embodiment and character, and with directors to produce the physical language of a production. Rebecca’s movement research includes politicised somatics & polyvagal theory as trauma-sensitive approach to both movement coaching, pedagogy and character embodiment. Bex, being a neurodivergent practitioner herself, curates a movement space that is neurodivergent inclusive, warm yet rigorous, and open to all.
